マリーテレーズ・ファン・トール先生は、オランダ・デルフト工科大学建築学部Heritage & Architectureコースにて、歴史的建築物や文化遺産の価値、その保存や修復、改修についての研究・教育に従事する研究者です。
今回のレクチャーでは、現在修復が計画されているシュレーダー邸（世界遺産／G.Th.リートフェルト設計／1924年竣工）の修復とその考え方、約10年間の作業を経て2014年にようやくリニューアルオープンしたアムステルダム国立美術館（Rijksmuseumライクスムゼウム／P.カイパース設計／1885年竣工）の修復・改修とその考え方、また今後のオランダでの文化的景観のプロジェクトなどについて話される予定です。

Marie-Thérèse van Thoor PhD is architectural historian, and associate professor at the section Heritage & Architecture at Delft University of Technology. She works in the field of Heritage and Cultural Value. Her research focuses on (architectural) history and cultural values, and their implementation in the design for restoration and transformation.
In her lecture she will share reflections and thoughts about the restoration (and transformation) of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, the ungoing project about the Rietveld Schröder House in Utrecht (financed buy the Getty Foundation) and plans for future projects on the scale of cultural landscape.
