KYOTO Design Labは、新設デザインファクトリーの建設に伴い、フィンランド・アールト大学を起点に20の機関が参加する国際的なネットワーク”Design Factory Global Network（DFGN）“へ正式に加盟することが認められました。
Design Factory Global Network（DFGN）とは、世界5大陸の大学や研究機関におけるイノベーションハブの国際的なネットワークです。DFGNは、情熱に基づく文化と効果的な問題解決を通じて、学習と研究の世界に変化をもたらすことを目的としています。共有された知識と体系化された経験により、ネットワーク内のデザインファクトリーは、急進的な革新を促す文化、タイムゾーン、組織の境界をまたいで効率的に連携することができます。
アールト大学によるDesign Factoryを紹介する映像
2017年10月31日から11月3日にかけて韓国・ソウルで開催される「International Design Factory Week 2017」にて、岡田栄造教授、スシスズキ特任准教授、ファクトリースタッフの山下真さんが加盟の発表と活動報告を行うことが予定されています。DFGNの参加にすることで、今まで以上に国際的な共同プロジェクトの実施や海外インターンシップなどへの参加が進むことが予定されています。今後の展開にご期待下さい。

Introduction of Design Factory by Design Factory at Aalto University
The International Design Factory Week 2017 (IDFW) will be held at the Design Factory Korea based at Yonsei University in Seoul from October 31st to November 3rd. Professor Eizo Okada, Project Associate Professor Sushi Suzuki, and Shin Yamashita will be representing the KYOTO Design Lab at IDFW.
