京都工芸繊維大学大学院 情報工学専攻 認知行動科学研究室に所属する篠原由美子さんがスタンフォード大学での滞在研究成果をまとめた共著論文がドイツで開催される国際学会「AutomotiveUI 2017」で採択されました。
本学で認知科学を専門とする西崎友規子講師から指導を受けた篠原さんは2016年、スタンフォード大学 センター・フォー・デザインリサーチ (Center for Design Research)へ短期間滞在し、自動車運転時の視覚情報処理プロセスにおける日本人とアメリカ人の差異を調査する研究を行いました。研究成果をまとめたスタンフォード大学との共著論文は、ドイツで開催される国際学会「Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications – AutomotiveUI ’17」で採択され、Session 4 – Driver Information Processingにて発表されます。詳しくは下記のリンクを御覧下さい。

Yumiko Shinohara is a master’s degree student in the Department of Information Engineering at Kyoto Institute of Technology. Her academic paper co-authored with Stanford University was accepted at the “Automotive UI 2017” international conference to be held in Germany.
Shinohara and Yukiko Nishizaki, lecturer at KIT, stayed for a short time at the Center for Design Research at Stanford University and researched the visual attention during simulated autonomous driving in the US and Japan.
The paper will be presented at the international conference “Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications – Automotive UI ’17 to be held in Germany and will be presented during Session 4 – Driver Information Processing. For details, please see the link below.
