水野大二郎特任教授と津田和俊講師による共著、『サーキュラーデザイン: 持続可能な社会をつくる製品・サービス・ビジネス』（学芸出版社）刊行を記念したオンライン・トークイベントが、2022年2月2日（水）に開催されます。
地球環境の持続可能性が危機にある現在、経済活動のあらゆる段階でモノやエネルギー消費を低減する「新しい物質循環」の構築が急がれています。本書『サーキュラーデザイン: 持続可能な社会をつくる製品・サービス・ビジネス』は、サーキュラーデザイン理論に至る歴史的変遷、衣食住が抱える課題と取組み・認証・基準、実践例、そして、実践の為のガイドとツールを紹介するものです。
本書の刊行を記念し、水野大二郎特任教授、津田和俊講師と共に、「あらゆるいのちをケアする想像力をはぐくむ」をミッションに掲げ実験的な活動をしている一般社団法人Deep Care Labの川地真史、田島瑞希両氏によるトークイベントが行われます。

Online talk event celebrating the publishing of “Circular Design: Products, Services and Businesses that Create a Sustainable Society”(Gakugei) co-authored by Specially-appointed Professor Daijiro Mizuno and Lecturer Kazutoshi Tsuda, will be held on February 2nd 2022.
Environmental sustainability is facing issues. There is an urgent need to build “a new material cycle” that reduces the energy consumption during the different stages of economic activities. The following publication “Circular Design: Products, Services and Businesses that Create a Sustainable Society” explores the shift to circular design theory. The book introduces challenges and initiatives facing clothing, food and housing industries including tools and guides for practice.
The talk event is held in collaboration with Mizuki Tajima and Masashi Kawamachi from Deep Care LAb, a general incorporated association that conducts experiments with the mission of “Cultivating the imagination that cares all lives”.
