In the field of architecture at Kyoto Design Lab, taking “regeneration” as a keyword, we engage in projects from a cross-disciplinary perspective that transcends national borders and academic fields.
The domain can be broadly divided into three core pillars of specialization: “Planning and Design,” “History and Theory,” and “Engineering.” Individual projects run the risk of being limited to a single area of specialization and losing their interrelatedness, but by defining “regeneration” as a loose objective at the scale of nation, region, city, or building we constantly seek to promote seamless overlapping.
