京都工芸繊維大学とロンドン芸術大学（UAL）の国際連携デザイン教育プログラム「MA Global Collaborative Design Practice（GCDP）」では、ロンドンと京都の2都市で修了展示を開催します（ロンドン：2025年7月7日–12日／京都：2025年7月8日–13日）。この展示にあわせて、公開シンポジウム「Materials of Soft Activism-デザイン実践を通じた小さな社会変革-：アーカイブ実践をめぐって」を開催します。
本シンポジウムは、展示のテーマである“Soft Activism”を起点に、アーカイブの実践を通して記録や継承の可能性を探る場です。アーカイブ・キュレーションに携わる実践者を迎えたトークと、本プログラムの学生によるディスカッションを通して、多拠点にまたがる学びと記録のかたちを立体的に考察します。

映画監督。オランダ・ユトレヒト大学で社会学、心理学と人類学を専攻、ロンドン大学大学院で映像人類学を学ぶ。親密な関係性や周縁化された声を扱ったドキュメンタリーを国内外で制作・発表している。
ライブラリアン／アーキビスト（Sitterwerk, スイス）。スイス・ザンクトガレンのSitterwerkにて芸術資料の収集・編成・公開に従事。アーカイブと芸術実践の交差に関心を持つ。
As part of the graduate exhibition held in both London (7–12 July 2025) and Kyoto (8–13 July 2025), the MA Global Collaborative Design Practice (GCDP)—a joint international design education program between Kyoto Institute of Technology and the University of the Arts London (UAL)—will host a public symposium titled:
“Materials of Soft Activism – Small-Scale Social Change through Design Practice: On Archival Practices.”
The symposium takes “Soft Activism,” the central theme of the exhibition, as a starting point to explore the possibilities of documentation and inheritance through archival practice. Through talks with practitioners engaged in archiving and curating, as well as discussion by GCDP students, the event reflects on how knowledge and its records are created and shared across international and multi-site design education contexts.

Filmmaker. Studied sociology, psychology, and anthropology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and visual anthropology at the University of London. Her films explore intimate relationships as a window into less visible aspects of society.
Librarian / Archivist (Sitterwerk, Switzerland). Works at Sitterwerk in St. Gallen, Switzerland, engaging in the collection, organization, and accessibility of artistic materials. Her practice focuses on the intersection of archiving and artistic research.
