本学の津田和俊講師の論文「Attempting to Fab in Rural Areas of Japan: From Fab Cities to Fab Villages(日本の農村地域におけるファブの試み:ファブシティからファブビレッジへ)」が掲載されています。

“This is Distributed Design”, a book edited by FabLab Barcelona at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in Barcelona, Spain, has been published. An article by Junior Associate Professor Kazutoshi Tsuda, entitled “Attempting to Fab in Rural Areas of Japan: From Fab Cities to Fab Villages,” is included in the book.

    Comment from Kazutoshi Tsuda
The KYOTO Design Lab at Kyoto Institute of Technology has started the “Fab Village Project” from 2021. This paper outlines the Fab Village concept and the background situation in Japan. The book “This is Distributed Design” is the fourth in a series of books published annually by the Distributed Design Platform, which was established in 2017, co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union. It discusses the state of the art and future perspectives of distributed design. The digital version can be downloaded for free from the following URL, and I hope you enjoy it.
