KYOTO Design LabとAalto大学による共同ワークショップの説明会を開催します。
本ワークショップでは、フィンランドを代表する建築家アルヴァ・アアルトの足跡をたどり、彼の最も象徴的な作品の数々を探索しながら、最先端の3Dスキャン技術を用いて建築や景観を記録、分析、解釈する方法について学びます。
フィンランドでの実地調査や、フィンランドと京都の両地で行われる共同ワークショップを通じて、本プログラムは、建築環境と向き合い、空間や物質性、そして人とその周囲の環境との関係性を理解する新たな方法を学ぶ機会を提供します。
共同ワークショップの開催にあたり、本学デザイン・建築学課程4年生以上の学生を対象に、2026年6月8日（月）10:00〜11:00にプログラム説明会を実施します。参加を希望する学生は出席してください。

KYOTO Design Lab will hold an information session for the joint workshop with Aalto University.
Participants will follow in the footsteps of renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, exploring some of his most iconic works while discovering how advanced 3D scanning technologies can be used to document, analyze, and interpret architecture and landscapes.
Through hands-on fieldwork in Finland and collaborative workshops in both Finland and Kyoto, the program offers a unique opportunity to engage with the built environment and to learn new ways of understanding space, materiality, and the relationship between people and their surroundings.
An information session will be held for 4th-year students and avobe in the Department of Design and Architecture on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00.
Students who are interested in participating are also welcome to attend.
